I'm curious to explore and understand the impact of nature on
an spirit, health, mood, awareness, creativity - the list is pretty long. I would like to build a picture of this.
For me nature is restorative and energising. A place to reflect and release unhelpful thoughts and feelings. I am alarmed by things that threaten green spaces, particularly after seeing so many people benefiting from the natural world during our broad ranging pandemic experience.
I understand that a balance needs to be found with affordable housing and transport infrastructures but I don't see much movement on the encouragement of passive building methods, re-greening and urban planting. It's there in pockets but needs more impotus and support to become widespread and normalised.
